Ashlee Ziemann lives in Wilmington, NC with her husband and their three sons. She was homeschooled herself from third grade through high school graduation, giving her a lifelong understanding of the homeschool journey from both the student and parent perspectives. She has been homeschooling her own children for eight years using a classical model and is deeply rooted in the local homeschool community. In addition to teaching her children, Ashlee has tutored elementary students for years, specializing in English grammar and writing for upper elementary ages.

Ashlee has experience working with students of diverse learning styles and individualized learning needs, including providing tailored academic support within her own home. She understands firsthand that every child learns differently and values thoughtful structure, clear expectations, and encouragement in the learning process. While her background includes tutoring, proctoring standardized exams, serving in children’s and youth ministry, and working in administrative roles that required organization, accuracy, and careful documentation, her greatest joy has always been working directly with children. Before getting married, her desire was to become an elementary school librarian — a reflection of her long-standing love for literacy, learning, and supporting young students in their academic growth.
